Molly's First Birthday

 Ella and Molly dancing

Here is Molly climbing the stairs.  She thinks she is hot stuff on the stairs.

 Happy Birthday Molly!
 Happy Girl!
 Cake
Blowing out the candle- the big girls helped blow it out.
Reaching for the treat on top of the cake.  Slightly unsure of it.  Then once Ella blurted out, "that's the one I wanted" poor Molly got scared and started crying.
Even after we calmed her down and sat her in my lap she wasn't having it.  She managed to stick her finger in a little frosting but then pretty much freaked out.  Not what I expected from Molly at all.  We may and slice her a piece of her own tomorrow night.

Learning to Walk

July 1st is the day when Molly took her first few steps for me and Jake.  However, on July 7th while we were in Spokane Molly decided to start really walking.  She hasn't looked back since and loves her new talent.  She even thinks she is cool enough to care big bags around while trying to balance and walk.
Bridgette LOVES Merida from Brave a Disney movie.  She got a gift card from Uncle Paul and Aunt Lindsey to Khols for her birthday and this is what she picked out.  She could hardly wait for bath time so she could put it on.
And of course we couldn't go shopping and not get Ella something new as well.
Molly exploring the bark.  Yes, that is bark on her face not chocolate.  Don't worry I caught her before she actually put the handful in her mouth.
Here she is all cleaned up without the bark.  Silly girl!

Cooking in Tutu's and Last Day of School

The girls love to help me cook especially when they are hungry because they always know they will get beaters to lick or something tasty to try.  Usually they wear their aprons but this time I think we forgot.  Bridgette wanted to show off her new tutu that Grandma Menard got her for her birthday.

Ella's last day of Preschool was in the middle of May.  She had a little graduation and then had their class party that me and my neighbor mom planned.

Ella and her teacher Mrs. Gault.  We also celebrated summer birthday's that day.
 Ella and teacher Mrs. Fish.
For her birthday present the teachers give each child their very own bible.  Ella was thrilled!  Cheers to a good summer!
