Bridgie is 3!

Big kids all sitting on bar stools.

On the morning of Bridgette's birthday we had a huge bouncy house princess castle delivered for the day.  At Noon we had some family over for a BBQ.  Even Nana and Papa made a surprise trip over to celebrate Bridgies big day.  Then in the late afternoon, just about the entire neighborhood came over to jump and to sing Happy Birthday to Bridgie.  She had such a great day.  By the end she day she was so tired she was going to put her baby in the fridge to go to sleep.

 Jumping with Ella and Dad.
I made a Puzzle cake.  B loves puzzles so I decided to make the cake into a puzzle piece.  I also made puzzle shaped jello gigglers with a cookie cutter and ice cream cupcake cones.  I served those to all the kids in the neighborhood.  They were a huge hit.

Bridgie got this super fancy pink dress for her Aunt Donna that day.  She wanted to wear it right away.
Papa and Molly just hanging out.

New dresses and Bloomsday

My Grandma, the girls' Great Grandma aka Great Grandma Choo, choo, make a bunch of adorable dresses for the girls.  They did a little fashion show for us that night.  It is just really hard to get a good picture of all three of them at the same time.

On the same weekend as my Dad's birthday, Jake and I ran/ walked Bloomsday with another couple this year.  We had a fun time and Jake didn't even get hurt. In fact me and my friend Jen went a little crazy and ended up signing up for a 5k mother's day run the day of Mother's Day.  We managed to run the entire time and made great time.  For not doing any sort of training I was proud of myself.  However, my knees paid for it for the next couple of weeks.

Papa Turns 60yrs old

OK, I have a good excuse for not blogging for almost a month.  Jake got me a Silhouette Cameo for Mother's Day.  I have been making so many things with this machine.  It makes cards, cuts vinyl for wooden signs, etc.  The sky's the limit on what this machine can create.
Papa turned 60yrs old the first weekend in May.  We all went to surprise him at his work on his birthday morning.  The girls that it was sooo cool getting to see where Papa works.  They even got to go into his mail truck.

My mom and I made this amazing lemon blueberry cake for Papa's big day.

Molls- 9mos old stats

Took Molly to the doctor for her 9mo check up last week:
weight- 19lbs.
height- 28in
4 shots and a toe prick to check for anemia and we were out of there.  No anemia so we are good to go for another 3months till she turns 1.  yikes, how time flys.  The biggest thing we struggle with is Molly's naps and sleeping through the night.  Since she was 8mos old (April 3rd) she has been crawling.  And a day later she was pulling herself up on things.  She climbs stairs and stands on her own for more than 3 seconds.

We have has such great weather lately so Molly has been getting out enjoying the sunshine lots.  She is wearing an adorable sundress my grandma made her.  Thanks Grandma ( Choo, choo)!

Her and Daddy!!

Rupunzel

A couple of weekends ago I took the older girls to see Rapunzel at the Children's Theatre.  It wasn't quite the same story of Rapunzel from the movie Tangled but both girls were glued to their seats.

At the end the girls got to meet the cast.  Here is a picture of them with Rainbow Rapunzel.

Rockin Out

On two separate occasions now the girls have wanted to dress up like rockstars.  Ok, their own versions of rockstars. And yes that is clean underwear on their heads.
It is hilarious watching them jump and sing around the house.

Of course we had to include Molly into the band.  She didn't know what to think.
