Easter 2013

As you can tell the Easter Bunny showed up to hide eggs and the girls' Easter baskets.  His paw prints were a big hit.  Here he is hopping into our house.
Ella found her basket right away.  And YES, the girls wanted to dress up as Princesses to find their   eggs.
The Easter Bunny left them each a golden egg which contained money.  The rest had candy.
And here is the Easter Bunny leaving our house.
He even hid a bunch of eggs outside for the girls to find.
It was such an unbelievable day on Easter that we decided to spend it at the beach in Edmonds, which is just North of us about 20min or so.
The girls and their sunglasses.  Lookin' cool!!
Bridgette was herself, slightly grumpy at first mainly because she was hungry we think.  But after a quick snack she became alive.

Ella is helping Jake fly one of our kites.
Here is Ella holding a real starfish that me and Bridgette found under a big rock while the tide was out.  We met this family who had a little boy who had just got back from tide pool hunting.  He had found shrimp, crabs and fish in his bucket.  Me and Bridgette wanted to go and get our own sea creatures so we set out with our bucket and shovel.  Soon the Dad and the little boy who we had met earlier came to help us.  It was really muddy and slippery so that is why Ella and Jake couldn't come out.  They didn't bring the proper shoes.  Plus, we didn't want anything to happen to Molly out there.  Anyway, me and B had a awesome time finding sea creatures under rocks.  We saw two baby eels, crabs, starfish, hermit crabs, clams rooting up water, and shrimp.  Yes, they were all living and yes we put everything back that we took in our buckets.  Next time, Ella is bringing her rain boots so she can go out with us.  After the beach we got ice cream and headed for home.  We can't wait to have another nice day so we can go again!

Vising Great Grandma and cousins

We drove to Kennowick for our annual get together on the Janosky side of the family on Sat.  It was the most beautiful day we had had in a long while.  The girls were in heaven because at my cousin Jason's house they had a full size trampoline.  It was hard to get the girls off, they were having so much fun.

Jake and the girls checking out there loot from the Easter egg hunt.  I think Molly is the happiest one and she didn't even get to hunt.
Yes, she has a shiner on the side of her face, it's not food.  She took a small tumble down the driveway on Friday.  My poor baby, she was a trooper though.

All the cousins except for Molly
 Me and my Grandma
Molly is doing her soo big trick for the camera.
 The girls enjoying dessert!
Family picture- Jake isn't in it because he is taking the picture.

The boy cousins saying good- bye.  My girls were to busy to pose for the picture.  They had to get some last minute jumping in before we left.

Sooo BIG

March has definitely come in like a Lion around here.  There is so much going on with each girl these days.  Ella has mastered the ability to write out her entire alphabet.  Which then has her asking how to spell out every word she writes out.  It's so neat to see her grow.  Ella has been out riding her bike on the nice days.  She sees some of the older girls (Kindergartners) riding in the neighborhood and I think she is determined to get her training wheels off by the end of the summer.  She is also wanting to learn to jump rope.  She can twirl the rope backwards but needs more practice going forward.

Bridgette, is a puzzle maniac.  She is putting together 60 piece puzzles with barely any help if any.  She doesn't mind doing the same ones over and over.  It is so cool to see how her little mind works and how proud of herself she gets when she finishes.  She also has been not wearing pull ups at night for the past month.  She amazed us the other night by taking herself potty.  Usually, we take her before we go to bed but on that night we didn't have to.  She is such a big kid, she tries so hard to keep up with Ella.

Molly is on the verge of crawling.  She loves the girls' Nala and Simba lions from the Lion King.  She goes crazy when she see them.  The lions are her motivation to crawl.  Of course the girls hate
it when I use their lions because once Molly gets one she drools all over it.  Don't worry, in her Easter basket she is getting her own lion.  Molly loves to play
Peek a boo!, If you ask her how big she is?  She will hold her hands out and wait for you to say, "Molly is sooo big!"  She loves to chew on her shoes and pull off her socks in the car, I don't mind as long as it keeps her happy.

Molly is sooo BIG!

After the party

After the Baptism the whole family came back to Renee's and we had a delicious lasagna dinner.  I think Pierre made his best lasagna ever!  At one point during the night, Marjie brought out these Menard sweatshirts for everyone to wear for a family picture.  For those of you who aren't familiar, there is a home improvement store in the Midwest called Menard's. So all the adults put them on and we took a few photos.

Ella took this picture for us in our Menard sweatshirts

Sofia's Baptism

Ok, I am back to finish telling you about our MN trip.  On the morning of the baptism, the girls were so excited to watch baby Sofia get baptized.  The sacrament was held after Mass.  There were many extended family members who attended.  It was personal and meaningful.  Sofia did great, barely made a peep through the whole thing.  Afterwards, Renee put invited on a really nice luncheon for everyone.

MN trip 2013

Our first trip to Minnesota as a family of five went off without a hitch.  The girls didn't make a peep on the plane.  Even Molly was able to take two short naps. The main purpose for our visit was because we were asked to become Sofia's (Jake's sister Renee's newest addition to their family)Godparents.  We were truly honored and couldn't wait to meet her and our other newest nephew Jason (Jake's brother Paul's first baby).  Not to mention that a lot of people on Jake's side of the family had never met or held Molly.  We had a great time hanging out with family and friends.  Auntie Renee, had everything we needed to make our stay easy and comfortable.  I couldn't thank her enough.
On Sat. we all went bowling and met up with family and Jake's best friend from High school Brent and his family.  Ella and Bridgette were great little bowlers. Then we went for frozen yogurt, Val's french fries, a visit to Paul and Lindsey's and Culver's for deep fried cheese curds.  What a perfect day!

Molly fell asleep in Uncle Luke's arms.
Friends Joy and her daughter Mercedes- Ella and Mercedes were in competition the whole time to beat each other in bowling.  Ella won the first game and Mercedes won the second.
 Girls holding baby Jason.
It's hard to get a good picture of all 4 kids.
The girls sitting up at the bar at Paul and Lindsey's having a little Shirley temple.

 Cousin Isaac!
 Auntie Lindsey and baby Jason
 Cousin Aidan!
The girls don't get a lot of opportunities to play in the snow and thanks to Auntie Renee, she saved some of the boys snow gear from when they were young.  Some was a little big but the girls were troopers and put it on and played in the snow with their boy cousins.

More to come with Sofia's baptism pictures....
