Bridgette turns 2!

On the day of Bridgette's birthday we had a neighborhood BBQ.  At first I just had invited our friends in the neighborhood who had kids over for cake.  Which then turned into a Birthday Party/ Going away BBQ since we were moving the following weekend.  It was perfect weather and everyone had a good time.  Bridgette did great, she was such a trooper for not having a nap all day.
B hanging out with the neighbor girls, they were making silly faces.

 Digging into her cake, yummy!

Thanks everyone for the nice presents!

Cousins

Ella had been counting down the days till she got to hang out with her cousins, Bennett and Miles. The girls did a lot of giggling and pretend playing together.  They even managed to include Bridgette and Miles in all the playing they did.  I didn't get a very good picture of Bridgette but the one of Miles below is adorable.  He is all boy! We had such a fun time hanging out with them.

Prima Ballerina's

One really speical treat that Ella and Bennett got to do when visiting Nana and Papa a few weeks ago was to go have a private ballet lesson from our friends daughter who is a real ballerina.  The girls were in ahh of Chelesea (the ballerina).  They listened so well and even preformed a little routine for us.

Visiting Great Grandma Janosky

Ok, so its been a long, long time since I last blogged.  They even changed the whole website layout so I am really lost.
The pictures above are of visiting my 96yr old Grandma.  My cousins were nice enough drove her down to my cousins farm so we could all see her when my brother and his family came to visit.  It was on my Grandma's wish list to meet my brother's kids so she was thrilled.

The girls new ride

We bought Ella and Bridgette a Corvette battery powered car yesterday off of Craigslist. We were going to try and keep it a surprise but it's a little large to hide in our garage. It has two speeds and a reverse plus a real stereo that can play mp3s too.

This picture was taken last night right when we got it home. As you can tell Ella was very excited.

Pony Rides

Yesterday, we had a really big day. Our friends back in Olympia were having a 2nd Birthday Party for their little boy. They had a petting zoo, pony rides, and a bouncy house. Despite it pouring down rain the entire time we managed to have a lot of fun. Last summer when Ella had a chance to ride on some pony's she was to scared. This time around was entirely different, Ella jumped on the horse and rode it all by herself. Bridgette didn't even fuss, she hoped right on as well. I think our kids rode on the pony's the most like 4-5 times. Now, poor Jake is our pony at home.

London Calling

My friend Andrea and I went to my Junior League auction back in Olympia last weekend. The theme was London Calling. Many people wore head pieces or fun hats as part of the theme. Thanks to Jake and my mom who watched our kids, we were able to enjoy ourselves. I brought Jake home 8 cases of his favorite beer and I came home with a Spa party with 4 friends.

Before leaving for the auction, all the kids in the neighborhood playing in our sand and water table. It's funny because most of our friends from back in Oly. have boys and where we live now there are only girls all Ella's age. Its sooo much fun watching all the girls play together.

The girls just being silly.
