London Calling

My friend Andrea and I went to my Junior League auction back in Olympia last weekend. The theme was London Calling. Many people wore head pieces or fun hats as part of the theme. Thanks to Jake and my mom who watched our kids, we were able to enjoy ourselves. I brought Jake home 8 cases of his favorite beer and I came home with a Spa party with 4 friends.

Before leaving for the auction, all the kids in the neighborhood playing in our sand and water table. It's funny because most of our friends from back in Oly. have boys and where we live now there are only girls all Ella's age. Its sooo much fun watching all the girls play together.

The girls just being silly.

Grandma &Grandpa Menard's visit

Grandma and Grandpa Menard came to visit us a few weeks ago. Poor Bridgette was sick with a high fever most of the time so she was a bit crabby but the rest of us had fun. Nearly every night the girls would entertaining them with their princess dances and singing. On Monday, during Ella's ballet class she told her teacher that her grandparents were visiting from MN so Marjie and Pierre got to go into her class and watch. Ella was thrilled.

Fancy Nancy Ballet

I took Ella to her first Ballet a few weeks ago. It was perfect for Ella, she was so in aah of all the ballerina's and their costumes. She didn't move once during the show. At the end she got her picture taken with Fancy Nancy.

San Francisco

Jake and I got to spend a wonderful sunny weekend in San Fran. this past weekend. My parents were gracious enough to come and watch the girls for us. This actually was the first time ever since having kids that we got to travel alone for more than one night. We had a great time eating and sight seeing around the city. By Sunday, I was ready to go home to see my girls.
During the weekend, we spend one day/night by ourselves touring around and the next day met up with my friend from High School, Jennie and her husband. It was nice to have our own personal tour guides. To end the evening we ate at this amazing Soul food restaurant. It felt good to laugh with such old friends. Jake and I can't wait to go back some day and this time we are hitting either Napa or Sonoma.

Best view of the city from Twin Peaks.

Bridgette and Ella

These pictures were taken today of both girls watching a show.
Don't their profiles look so similiar. I can't wait to see what the third one is going to look like. Speaking of the baby, I am almost 20 weeks and I am feeling the baby move around a lot. I can't believe I am half way there.
