Updates

Last weekend Nana and Papa came to visit while Jake was on a boys weekend fishing in Wisconsin. We had a lot of fun making Ella laugh and giggle. Here are some recent pictures.

Hats Galore

Thanks Grandma Caskey for the hats, we still have one more to try on but Ella got a little fussy so we had to hold off. She looks adorable in them!!! We are off to the yarn store.

First words

I caught Ella in a talkative mood yesterday and here is what she had to say....

5 Months Old

Ella is officially 5mos old. She is really developing her little personality. She has started noticing Avery ( the cat) and she likes to reach out and grab for her fur if she is close. Ella loves pretending to drink out of a glass. She has taken a couple sips of water but hasn't quite figured out she need to swallow it. Usually, it all ends up on her outfit. Ella is constantely rolling over and now she is say ma-ma-ma-ma. I doubt she really understands that I'm her mom but I'd like to think so.

Happy New Year's

Well, things are pretty quiet around here, the Christmas tree is down and all the decorations are put away. For some reason the house always feels so blahh after the holidays. However, it is nice not having to water the tree. Even the snow has disappeared and the rain has returned.

We celebrated the New Year at our friends house. Great food and drinks Plichta's!! Thanks.

Jake and I have made a few New Year's resolutions but we'll see how long they last.
