A meal in her Bumbo

 Molly loves to sit up and join us at the table these days.  Most of the time she sits in her highchair but today she is in her bumbo chair.

Guess who's getting older?

 Jake turned 34 years old on Dec. 20th!  Jake and I actually went out for dinner by ourselves and left the girls with a sitter.  Everyone did well except for Molly.

Snowflake Lane 2012

Thought this was an adorable picture of Bridgie and Jake.


A week before Christmas we took the girls to Snowflake Lane downtown Bellevue.  Each night during the holidays they do a live show at 7pm where the Snowflake princess comes out and some other characters come out to greet the kids.  Drummers beat to the music blasting outside and fake snow falls from the sky.  People jam the sidewalks listening and dancing.  It is a ton of fun!  This year Ella was sooo into it and of course Bridgette was scared.  So she stayed inside the restaurant with me and Molly while Jake took Ella into the action.

 I had the girls get dressed up to go to Snowflake Lane because after dinner and festivities outside we stood in line to see Santa.  Ella asked for 110 kittens and cats.  She is obsessed with kittens and cats.  And Bridgette asked for a new baby doll.  I spoke up for Molly and told Santa I just wanted a good nights sleep!

Finally took Molly in for her 4mo well child visit a couple of weeks ago.  She weights 16lbs 90-95%, 26in long- off the charts in height.  The doctor was very impressed with her head control and her eye contact.  She actually said that Molly was advanced for her age espcially since she is grabbing for toys and pulls her feet to her mouth.   Just in the past week she has had two teeth pop through and she now rolls over on a regular basis without help.

 Molly is 5mos old!  Yipee!

Gearing up for the holidays

The girls loved helping Jake put up our Christmas Tree this year.  Ella had a string of lights and half the ornaments on the tree before Jake could even string up one strand of lights. 

 Who does this look like?  It is Molly but I see a lot of Ella in this picture. 

Here comes trouble!  A double dose of candy canes here.

First Meal

 Molly had her first taste of Rice cereal last week.  She wasn't to sure of it.  Bridgette of course wanted to help me feed her.  She is such a good big sister!

And here is Molly's newest trick is putting her toes in her mouth.  Silly girl!

Christmas Pictures/ Thanksgiving

For those who missed it I had to add this picture of Jake growing out his mustache for Movember.  I was very proud of him for not shaving for an entire month.  It was to bring awareness to prostate cancer.  NO he doesn't have prostate cancer.  This picture was kinda taken in the beginning of the month.  Take a look at our Christmas card to really see the end result.

We hosted Thanksgiving again this year but in our new house.  It was great to have a large crowed.  My parents came over Wed. to help get things ready and everyone else came Thurs. even afternoon.  Even my grandparent (Ga and Ga) drove over from Spokane that morning.  Thank you to everyone who came and brought things to share.  We are truly grateful to have such a wonderful supportive family.

I honestly didn't take any other Thanksgiving pictures other than these.  I think I must have been too busy.  I will try and do better for Christmas.
