Halloween Night 2011

In the beginning of the October I took Ella to the Halloween store and she picked out a Minnie Mouse costume. She was all about it until we went to the Disney Store last week and fell in love with the Sleeping Beauty Dress. As you can see Sleeping Beauty won!
B is my kitty cat.
Here we are "trick or treating" with Ella's friends from the neighborhood. Tons of laughing and giggling from those girls. Notice Bridgette is right up in the front. No Fear from her. She did awesome for her first time trick or treating.
Before we left to go out into the neighborhood. Gosh its hard to take a good picture of the both of them.
At Jake's office they had trick or treating for the kids. I brought the girls over there and we went office to office getting lots of awesome candy. Ella made us proud by how she would loudly say "trick or treat" before picking out her candy followed by a "thank you."

Pumpkin Carving 2011

Ella is very proud of her kitty pumpkin which she decorated herself.

I think Ella was kinda grossed out by seeing the insides of the pumpkins. She wouldn't even tough it. I fished through all the insides for the seeds and then roasted them. They turned out excellent, Ella does like the seeds.

Show Off day at Ballet (last week)

It was show off week at Ella's Ballet school last week. Which means that parents and sibling get to go inside the classroom and watch and take pictures of our little ballerina's. At the end of the class Ella got to pick a pumpkin and got a trophy. She was very pround of it

I couldn't forget B- for Boo!

Pumpkin Patch 2011

On Saturday we went to a pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins. Usually we walk away from these patches and think we could have gotten better pumpkins at the grocery store but this year our pumpkins are pretty perfect. Now we just have to carve them. We definately will miss Paul and Lindsey's help.
Bridgette telling daddy, "this is the one!" She even gave it a kiss later.

B loves playing in the car.

Geting bigger

Ella making bracelets.

Ella took a empty diaper box and turned it into a kitty condo for her cat, Meow Meow. Daddy helped her. She had so much fun coloring, using glitter glue, pom, poms, and stickers.

Happy as a clam!

She is such a big girl, she is wearing Ella's 2T clothes.

Ella's 1st day of Preschool

Today was Ella's 1st day of Preschool at Holy Family Preschool. She is in the afternoon class with 5 other kids in her class. I was so nervous for Ella to start Preschool, thinking that she would cry and miss me the whole time. Well, it was just the opposite. I cried dropping her off and picking her up, she never cried at all. I was so proud of her. Ella said she had a great time and is ready to go back on Thursday. Since today was the first day, her teacher handed out gift bags and Starbucks cards to all the parents. I thought that was pretty nice. Salted Caramel Mocha here I come!

First day of Ballet

Ella had her first day back at Ballet today. Last Spring we signed up for Ballet/ Tap/ Gymastics and she didn't do all that well. She didn't like the part when I had to leave the room for Ballet. Then we took some classes this summer and she did amazing. Which means me and Bridgette got to watch from the window and bleachers. Today, Ella was so grown up and went into class all by herself. The teacher let all the parents back in for part of the class so I got a couple shots of her in action. I was so proud of her that I shed a few tears. Tomorrow the tissues really come out because it's her first day of preschool.

Cute as a Button

Over this past weekend I helped throw a baby shower for my friend Joanna who is having a baby girl in 3 weeks. When I first was asked to help with the shower I was thinking I could make some cute cookies or cupcakes but then I wanted to challenge myself. At first I was going to tackle the cake making myself but then I decided to look into taking some fondant cake classes. The classes didn't work with my schedule so I actually ended up paying the teacher who teaches the classes at Michael's craft stores to come to my house for a private lesson. I had the lady come on Friday night at 8pm. The cake was cooked and and the frosting for the middle was made before she came. I had never done a fondant cake before so it was so nice having professional help. Below are some pictures of the shower and cake and cupcakes I made.

Bridgette's 15mos

Here are B's stats from her last doc. visit last Friday.
Weight: 25.13lbs 75-90%
Height: 32in 90%
Lately, she is quite a pill due to her molars still trying to fully erupt. When she is happy we have fun together. She is talking a ton mostly mimicking words I say. She is really into books and looking at pictures of family. She loves being silly and copying what Ella does. Which is great because if I want Bridgette to try something Ella is the person to get her to do it. She definitely loves her sister.
Notice her rash on her chin from teething. Poor thing.
Crazy hair!
