Thanks you to my parents who brought lots of entertainment to Ella, cooking, cleaning, and laundry duty throughout the week of visiting us. You both made the transition from having one baby to two much more smooth. There were a few days after getting home that I questioned myself on how I was ever going to manage without either Jake's or my parents help. Luckily, because of all there help I know I am fully capable of taking over. Yesterday was my first full day by myself and aside from being exhausted I made it without any problems!!

Similar yet Different

The top picture is Ella about 5 days old and the bottom picture is Bridgette 5 days old. Ella definitely has a few pounds on Bridgette.

Sisterly Love

So far is a very good Big sister. She likes to give her kisses and check to see if she has a dirty diaper. She also likes to point out all her body parts. Yesterday, I dress them in cute matching outfits thanks to Auntie Renee. Bridgette managed to keep hers on for about half the day before spiting up all over it. Luckily we got some photos first thing in the morning.

Nana comes to visit

This past week was extremely busy. Nana came to visit from Wed. till this Monday. I can't thank her enough for all the help and motivation she gave me to get things done. We did everything from washing baby clothes, organizing the girls rooms, walking around the lake, running errands, playing at the playground, pedicures, and going to a baby shower that my friends gave me. I actually feel content and think I am ready for baby Menard #2 to arrive.

Tea Party

While Jake worked in the yard all weekend pulling weeds and spreading fresh bark as part of my Mother's Day present, me and Ella had a tea party. Ella loves to "dump" water, food etc. So I figured if she wanted to play with water, outside would be a perfect place.

More Ella

Today, we took a nice walk around the lake with our friends and then headed to the park for lunch and playtime. We had a great time, the best part was the sunshine was out for us to enjoy.

Believe it or not by looking at this picture, Ella thought it was pretty funny to wear this bag on her head as a hat.

Ella is getting over a horrible sinus infection but once she is feeling 100% I think the amount of binki time needs to be cut. We have way to many pictures of her binkis.
