New Tricycle

A few weeks ago we picked up this princess bike from a friend who's little girl grew out of it. Yes, I know she needs a helmet!! It's on the list of things to do. So far we have just kept it in the garage. Ella likes to practice getting on and off and of course ringing the bell. She is still to short to reach the pedals.

Finishing touches

Yesterday, Jake put up Ella's new window valance up I put the flower decals on. Her room is starting to feel like a little girls room thanks to Pottery Barn Kids!!

I still need to get a pad made for the window seat and some pillows. And then I think we will be done.

Tomorrow is my 36 wk appointment. Maybe we'll find out how big she is?

Lately, Ella sings the Happy Birthday song by herself and she is really into the 1-2 buckle my shoe song. She know most of it by herself. I'll have to get it on video soon. Some words she says are: tunnel, Avery, right here( she will point to where she wants you to put things like food or where to sit) muff short for mustard( a girl after my own heart), wise man, crack- like crack and egg. Whole, half, kind, why, where, tie, knot, and Puma ( those are her tennis shoes). There are plenty more but you get the idea.

I love U

Bookshelf complete and blinds hung.

Put the new bedskirt on but its hard to see in this picture.
Hair in a ponytail.

Hair out of control not in a ponytail.

"I love you" those were the words that me and Jake got to hear this weekend. It was so cute! We still have yet to have her sleep in her "big girl room" but Jake just put the door on tonight so I think for nap time I'll try it out tomorrow.

Hard at Work

Poor Jake worked long and hard all weekend painting trim, painting walls, picking up furniture from up North then putting it all together and helped me host a belated Easter Brunch.
So far Ella loves her Big Girl Room. She pretends to take naps and really likes the idea of climbing in and out of her bed. We put her toddler side rail on so that she would get used to it but I have a feeling we might just switch it back to a full crib. We'll see how the new few weeks play out.

New Car

Sadly, I have no Easter pictures to post because guess what? We forgot the camera! However, we did manage to sap some with Nana and Papa's camera but we won't be able to download them until May when they come out for the new baby.
I can share with you some pictures of our new car we purchased over in Spokane. Jake shed a few tears when he said good-bye to his BMW for our new "Family Rig." I told him not to worry, that someday in the distant future he can have another one. Anyway, we love all the space it provides and can hardly wait to test it out with two kids.

2008 Buick Enclave- who'd of thought we'd ever own a Buick?!
